Dorothy Tischler is an experienced real estate attorney who has been handling residential real estate transactions for 25 years.  Dorothy prides herself as a lawyer with both technical expertise and the ability to achieve a personal relationship with each client while facilitating the client’s objectives and successfully bringing the transaction to closing.  She is able to anticipate or quickly identify potential pitfalls and problems and has the knowledge to quickly and accurately solve them.

In addition to representing sellers, purchasers and lenders, Dorothy is also a licensed agent for Stewart Title Insurance Company.  This relationship allows for a quicker, more efficient transition from contract to closing, and creates a “one-stop” shop for those clients who elect to have Dorothy insure title to their property.

Dorothy believes in a Team approach, resulting in long lasting relationships, not only with her clients, but also with attorneys, lenders, and realtors throughout the Capital District.

Dorothy attended Emma Willard School, Skidmore College and Franklin Pierce Law Center.  She currently resides in Loudonville, New York with her husband and children.

Attorney Gus Gillberg has focused on residential and commercial real estate transactions from the beginning of his career and continues to refine a masterful “art of the closing”. Even while attending Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts, Gus knew that transactional real estate closings were his passion.

Gus’ primary areas of practice include residential and commercial real estate transactions, estate planning, land use, and business law - and he handles his fair share of traffic tickets, evictions and DWI cases. Gus manages a well-rounded practice with a strong emphasis on real estate matters. His goal is to provide the highest level of legal representation while being responsive to his clients’ ever changing needs throughout the course of their lives.

Gus resides in Albany County with his wife, daughter and son. He attended Wachusett Regional High School, Stonehíll College and Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the NYS Bar Association, Albany County Bar Association and the Schenectady County Bar Association. Gus is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
